Update @ 16.40 - normal service has been restored.

Engineers are investigating a connectivity issue into our Manchester Datacentre which has caused a number of our systems including shared hosting, and e-mail to be offline.

Further updates will be posted in due course.

Update @ 13:30 - all affected accounts have now been restored. If you're experiencing a problem with your website still please contact support@fnhosting.co.uk. Thank you for your patience during this outage. 

Update @ 12:51 - restoration is well underway, and we expect this to be complete within the next hour. We'll post a further update once normal service has resumed.

The shared hosting server known as "Hosting14" has suffered from a hardware failure this morning.

Engineers are working to restore sites to replacement hardware.

Please note this server previously replaced sites on "Hosting11", which you may also know this as.

Update @ 12:20 - work is ongoing to restore service, we applogise for the outage and assure you everything is being done to get affected websites online.

We're aware of an issue affecting the server "hosting15" and are working to restore normal service as quickly as possible.

We're carrying out essential maintenance to our network between 9pm and 11.45pm tonight.

During the above time period you may experience a number of short outages to our services, but we'll keep these as brief as possible.

RESOLVED - full service has been restored to all affected services.

UPDATE @ 21:30 - we have now restored 90% of affected sites, work continued to restore the final 10%.

UPDATE @ 20:00 - we have now restored 75% of affected sites, work continued to restore the final 25%.

UPDATE @ 18:30 - we have rebuilt the server on our new virtualisation platform, and are currently working to restore sites from backup.

At this time we have restored approximately 50% of all affected sites, which are now fully back online. Work will continue until full restoration has been achieved.

Please accept our apologies if you were affected by this outage, we've been planning major hardware and system upgrades for the last few months, but unfortunately this server suffered from hardware failure a matter of weeks before it would have been migrated to the new platform.
